MICHAEL C. BROWN, ESQ., President/General Counsel
Michael is the President of Master Credit Consultants Inc. / LienMaster, the firm he founded in 1988. He received his B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and his J.D. from the University of Akron School Of Law. With a specialty in the areas of creditors’ rights and construction law, Michael has the overall responsibility in the filing of Preliminary Notices, Mechanic’s Liens, and Bond Claims across the country, as well as Collection of those delinquent accounts for MCC clients. He also dispenses legal advice on a regular basis.
KURT SHUTTLER, Collection/Legal Department
Kurt brings with him over 35 years experience in Collections and Credit Management. Kurt is a “top” collector in every sense of the word. If there is a way to collect money on an account, Kurt will figure it out. He also provides our clients with consistent and detailed status reports on all claims. If a lawsuit is required to collect the account, Kurt will work closely with co-counsel during the collection/litigation process. Finally, Kurt is adept in all types of research, including skip traces and asset searches.
KAREN RUKIN, Controller
Karen’s vast experience in finance and operations management is put to good use by keeping the company books. Karen handles the financial accounting of MCC, which includes reconciling the books, processing transactions, invoicing, and collecting debts.
ALEXIS BATT, Research Dept. & Admin Assistant
Alexis is highly skilled in all office procedures. In addition to processing Notices, Liens, and Bond Claims, she also handles the investigation and verification of project information. Alexis can be your main contact if any questions arise.
LAURIE LINKE, Research Dept. & Admin Assistant

Not only does he have an MBA from High Point University, but he also has substantial marketing experience working with multiple commercial operations.
