Michael C. Brown, Esq,

MICHAEL C. BROWN, ESQ., President/General Counsel

Michael is the President of Master Credit Consultants Inc. / LienMaster, the firm he founded in 1988. He received his B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and his J.D. from the University of Akron School Of Law. With a specialty in the areas of creditors’ rights and construction law, Michael has the overall responsibility in the filing of Preliminary Notices, Mechanic’s Liens, and Bond Claims across the country, as well as Collection of those delinquent accounts for MCC clients. He also dispenses legal advice on a regular basis.

Kurt Shuttler

KURT SHUTTLER, Collection/Legal Department

Kurt brings with him over 35 years experience in Collections and Credit Management. Kurt is a “top” collector in every sense of the word. If there is a way to collect money on an account, Kurt will figure it out. He also provides our clients with consistent and detailed status reports on all claims. If a lawsuit is required to collect the account, Kurt will work closely with co-counsel during the collection/litigation process. Finally, Kurt is adept in all types of research, including skip traces and asset searches.

DANA ROBERTO, Office Operations/Bookkeeper/Reception/Administrative Assistant

Dana’s vast experience in finance, operations management, and administrative support is put to good use by keeping the company books. Her responsibilities include accounts payable, accounts receivable, coordinating the set-up of new files with clients, and handling other internal matters for MCC.

Caitlin Van Valkenburgh

CAITLIN VAN VALKENBURGH, Research Department & Administrative Assistant

Caitlin is highly skilled in all office procedures. In addition to processing Notices, Liens, and Bond Claims, she also handles the investigation and verification of project information. Caitlin should be your main contact when it comes to the preparation and filing of a Release of Lien.

Brittany Walaszewski

BRITTANY WALASZEWSKI, Research Department & Administrative Assistant

Brittany will usually be the first voice you hear when you call MCC/LienMaster. She has vast experience in all facets of office management. Brittany handles the setup of claims, researches projects and processes notices to ensure your Lien rights. If you have any questions, Brittany is always happy to help!

 

Fun Fact: Brittany has 5 siblings and loves to spend her free time with her family and friends including her three furry companions, Riley, Oliver, and Gracie.

Lexi Batt

LEXI BATT, Research Department & Administrative Assistant

Lexi is a key part of our research team and works on projects all over the U.S. & Canada. She is highly skilled in state specific requirements needed to process notices and ensure we take all steps necessary to protect your lien rights. Lexi is a great team player and assists with many other areas in the office. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to her!

Fun Fact: Lexi is new to the Cleveland area and spends her free time with her 2 beloved pets.
