How It Works

Protecting your lien and bond rights with LienMaster takes six steps. Most clients are up and running the same day.

  1. Create your portal login. Go to Client Login and create an account. Your portal is where every form, file and deadline for your company lives.
  2. Check your deadline. Open the Lien Calculator, choose the state, whether the project is public or private, the type of claim, and your last furnishing date. It returns the filing deadline for that project along with state-specific notes.
  3. Submit a Lien & Bond Protection Form. From your portal (or the Request Protection button on this site), fill in what you know about your company, your customer and the project — starred fields are required — then attach the related documents after you submit.
  4. Receive your acknowledgment letter. LienMaster reviews the file, decides the best course of action and, where needed, retains counsel in the project’s state on your behalf.
  5. Get notified when it’s filed. As soon as your Preliminary Notice, Mechanic’s Lien or Bond Claim is completed it is uploaded to your Activity Report and you receive an alert with a copy of the document and an invoice.
  6. Track everything in your Activity Report. Current, pending and closed files are all in one place. Keep last-furnishing dates up to date and LienMaster will alert you automatically as enforcement deadlines approach.
